LONDON: Johnny Depp is down in the dumps after bisexual girlfriend Amber Heard left him — and went on holiday with a stunning model, reported British daily The Sun on Saturday.

Amber, 26, ended the seven-month romance as she and Marie de Villepin, daughter of ex-French premier Dominique, flew to Paris.

She is said to have ditched Johnny over his moods and grown “very close” to Marie.

Pals said the actor, 49 — Tonto in a new Lone Ranger movie — is “cut up” as they had even discussed starting a family.

One said: “He hasn’t been this smitten for a long time.

“He’s been head-over-heels in love with Amber. But just as she started to love him back, she got cold feet.

“They seemed happy and were even talking of marriage and babies.

“But Amber grew fed up of him and his moods.”

The US actress and Marie, also 26, have frequently been seen together as they spend a week in the romantic French capital.

They have headed out for cinema dates on Marie’s scooter.

The pair were introduced last October by Amber’s artist ex-girlfriend Tasya Van Ree, 36. The source added: “They’re very close and some friends say they’re a couple.”

Last June Johnny split from Vanessa Paradis, 39 — mum of his two children — after 14 years together.

He fell for Amber on the set of their movie The Rum Diary. He moved her into a £10million Tennessee mansion and even named a bay on his Bahamas isle Amber’s Cove after her.

Not winning an Oscar does not bother Jackson

NEW YORK: Samuel L Jackson isn’t bothered about winning an Oscar. The actor has only received one Academy Award nomination in his long career — for a supporting role in 1994’s Pulp Fiction — but doesn’t feel he needs a gold statue to validate his work.

“I’ve had a pretty good career,” he said. “I don’t think it will validate my stature in Hollywood one way or another. I’ve done some pretty interesting things, and it’s been a long and rich career.”

The 64-year-old star was crowned the highest grossing actor of all time in 2011 — based partly on the success of franchises in which he’s appeared, such as Star Wars and The Avengers — which Jackson believes is reward enough.

“Winning an Oscar is definitely not going to help my box-office record,” Jackson said.

The actor is set to reprise his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Nick Fury in Captain America sequel The Winter Soldier next year, and expects to appear in more Marvel superhero movies.

“I think I’ve got four or five pictures left on my nine picture deal. I’ll just keep showing up,” he said.

Wear a black tank top, a baseball hat and aviator sunglasses, the Baby hitmaker peers over his shoulder in the image.

Bieber deleted the image shortly after it was posted to his official account, though it had already been liked more than 15,000 times and received more than 2,700 comments, Us magazine reported.

Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, joked about the picture via Twitter. “As a prankster you have to respect another good prank,” he wrote. “Only makes sense. #crackdealer.”

Bieber’s succinct reply was, “Haha.”
